A new year full of new dreams, love and magic

We've kicked off the year with a bang after a successful ticket sale for Tomorrowland Belgium, the launch of our 4th digital festival experience and the start of building for Tomorrowland Winter in Alpe d'Huez. We'd also like to look back for a moment on the beautiful year of 2022 and take you on a journey through the realizations of the past year, as well as give you a little sneak peek into what’s coming up in 2023! ‘Best Bespoke/Unique Structure’ at the 2023 Festival Supplier Awards

The revolutionary Poseidon creation, created and designed by Tomorrowland and developed in co-production with loyal suppliers Neptunus Structures, JMR (fountain) and Fisheye (decoration) as part of the ‘Dreamcatcher Terrace’ at Tomorrowland’s 2022 Freedom Stage, has won the award for ‘Best Bespoke/Unique Structure’ at the 2023 Festival Supplier Awards. The stunning circular structure with a free span of 45 meters and internal height of 14 meters incorporated a waterfall in the center for a spectacular effect, forming a magnificent backdrop for the Freedom Stage, the Love Tomorrow Conference and Tomorrowland’s Neighbor Day during 3 weekends of Tomorrowland.

A unique ski capsule collection by Tomorrowland Winter x Ellesse

The snow-covered landscape of Alpe d’Huez in January… The perfect backdrop to shoot the campaign for the brand-new ski capsule collection by Tomorrowland Winter and Ellesse, starring Henri PFR and British indie-rock goddess Connie Constance. Both were glad to be part of the fashion team for two days, striking a pose and testing out the famous slopes of the French ski resort!

A Tomorrowland scoop at Maison & Objet

Maison & Objet, the prestigious design trade fair in Paris, had a special Tomorrowland scoop in store this year, hidden at the stand of Belgian craftsmanship candle company Baobab. Concept stores and design retailers were the very first ones to discover the Tomorrowland Scent, set to release to homes around the world in April. The exclusive scent, design and accompanying playlist have been specially developed by the creative team behind Tomorrowland. You can't see any pictures yet, as the design is still secret for now!

John Newman joins One World Artists

British singer, songwriter & producer John Newman – who has collaborated with the likes of David Guetta, Calvin Harris and Rudimental – has joined One World Artists, Tomorrowland's official artist agency. Newman will be going back to his dance roots, making his first appearance at Tomorrowland Winter. Having re-opened the stems of his early hits and remixed them into festival-sized anthems, the Brit will be jumping behind the decks for a unique DJ/live hybrid performance with a mix of live vocals, live mixing and beat triggering – really giving the energy and making it a proper party!

The last preparations for a high-energy all-nighter with Charlotte de Witte at Flanders Expo in Ghent are currently ongoing, getting ready for a spectacular party night with:

  • 2.400 m2 LED
  • 700 to 800 lamps
  • 6 days of build up
  • 120 crew members per day
