A peek into the magic of Tomorrowland

August 2023

Hi there, hello September!

Summer vacation is over but hibernation is not yet coming. The next few weeks we have insanely many events planned. Below you will find a brief update of the latest projects.

Have a great day!

Tomorrowland has been voted the World’s No. 1 Festival

This year, over 100,000 verified votes were cast in the 2023 DJ MAG Top 100 Festivals poll between 26th April and 21st June. Tomorrowland topped DJ Mag’s first ever Top 100 Festivals back in 2019, when the poll was voted for by top DJs, and returned to the No.1 spot last year following the shift to a public vote for the first time. Now, in 2023, Tomorrowland has retained its crown.

We are delighted to once again receive this recognition from the public, festival goers and DJ Mag readers. What once started as a dream, took wings thanks to the tireless efforts of a passionate young team and the enthusiasm and unconditional support of the Tomorrowland community, the People of Tomorrow. We are already looking forward to the 20th anniversary next year but now we are getting ready for the return to Brazil in a few weeks." - Manu & Michiel Beers.

1 billion Spotify streams

Lost Frequencies has achieved a remarkable milestone: he is the first Belgian artist to ever have reached an astounding 1 BILLION Spotify streams, a testament to his widespread appeal and enduring influence in the music industry.

He was the first Belgian artist scoring a #1 in the UK and breaking the top 100 Spotify artists in the past and it seems he keeps on pioneering. He has performed at some of the world's most prestigious music festivals such as Coachella, Tomorrowland, Lollapolooza, Rock in Rio,…

First on the scene in 2014 and most recently, in 2023, Lost Frequencies earned his first Brit Award nomination for his global hit with Callum Scott 'Where Are You Now'. As well as hitting #1 on The Official Big Top 40 after becoming the most-played song in the U.K., the single would also achieve Platinum status across 14 territories worldwide and secured a Top 30 U.S. chart position and, to date, has received over 1.7 billion combined streams.

Music fans across the world can already start dreaming of 2024, as Tomorrowland is bringing back CORE to Tulum in Mexico. This time for two nights in January: Saturday 13 and 20. Not just two party nights but a brand new CORE stage will also be revealed to the world at Zamna. Entirely designed and crafted in-house, the Tomorrowland team has been working on a mythical new CORE stage along with a spectacular audiovisual experience for over a year.

More than 32.000 music lovers will be immersed in the jungle rhythms of Tulum and dancing to the finest sounds across 3 stages nestled amongst a lush natural scenery, surrounded by the magical Zamna cenote and the raw beauty of nature’s surroundings. A legendary experience in one of the most magical places on the planet where music and nature come together.

BRAZIL | The final sprint towards Tomorrowland Brasil

Having sold out the festival as well as the official camping site DreamVille in record time, Tomorrowland’s highly anticipated return to Brazil will welcome more than 180.000 People of Tomorrow from 98 countries around the world to celebrate and dance together under the Brazilian sun during three days in October. The Reflection of Love and the other stages are built up, the line-up has been announced and the city of Itu is ready to welcome the festivalgoers. In Itu, more than 400 employees are sought. The vacancies can only be filled by residents of Itu and involve a variety of jobs such as security crew, cashier, cleaning services and traffic stewards.

Mayor Guilherme Gazzola is very excited about the positive impact that these job offers bring to the municipality: "We are very happy that we can offer over 400 residents a job and that they will be involved in Tomorrowland Brasil. It shows that Itu can welcome big events and that we are prepared. These are not only jobs directly related to the festival, but also indirect employment in the hotel and restaurant sector, among others. Tomorrowland gives Itu an economic boost."
